Family Medicine

We provide continuing, comprehensive health care for the individual and family with special emphasis on adult and elderly care. For many common illnesses, our providers will treat the condition in-house via injectable antibiotics and/or write appropriate prescriptions for drugs necessary to cure or alleviate symptoms.

As trusted members of our community, our Providers are also able to provide counseling on lifestyle, diet, exercise routines, reproductive health and a number of other personal topics. Our Providers are also responsible for a patient’s initial diagnosis and for providing referrals to a specialist for further testing or treatment when needed.

We also offer Seasonal Farmworker Program at this site.

Under the guidance and regulation of the Georgia State Office of Rural Health and the Georgia Dept. of Community Health, the SCPCC Seasonal Farm Worker program mission is to improve the health quality of Georgia’s migrant and seasonal farm workers and their families by providing cost-effective, culturally appropriate, preventive and primary healthcare services, and by arranging for other levels of healthcare through collaboration and advocacy.
